hey! i’m benji!

I consider myself a storyteller. I choose this identity as a way of decolonizing creativity and rooting myself in a practice of love. Stories are inherently built into the universe as we discover them through movement, positive and negative space, all tenses of time, and the landscape we are made of. It is my life’s mission to give thanks to Ometeotl by balancing the diversity of life through love, dance, song, and engaging in the greater story.
